Bodycam videos show dramatic rescues in floods

Hurricane Milton left a trail of destruction in Florida. Die Rescue efforts and cleanup work in the US state are in full swing.

Two days after Hurricane Milton swept across the US state of Florida, the extent of the damage is becoming increasingly clear. For millions of people in Florida, cleanup and reconstruction began Friday after the second major hurricane in two weeks.

US President Joe Biden estimated the damage caused at $50 billion. At least 16 people died as a result of “Milton”.

Around 1.8 million households in Florida were still without power on Saturday, and numerous residential buildings are under water. Police bodycam videos show the dramatic rescue of families trapped in floodwaters in their Hillsborough County homes.
