Baltimore County police are seeking information about the Gwynn Oak shooting


Towson, MD – The Violent Crimes Unit of Baltimore County Police is actively investigating a recent shooting in Gwynn Oak. The incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 12:25 a.m. in the unit block of Greenbury Ct., where officers discovered a 36-year-old male with a gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in critical yet stable condition. Detectives urge anyone who has any information about the shooting to contact them at 410-307-2020.

Authorities have announced a reward in connection with this investigation. Individuals can provide information anonymously via Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587 (7LOCKUP). Successful tips could earn a reward of up to $2,000.

  • Chesapeake Police Respond to Double Shooting

    CHESAPEAKE, VA – Police in Chesapeake are investigating a double shooting. The incident occurred at 10:11 p.m. Friday in the 4200 block of Reid Street.

    When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were seriously injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment.

    There are currently no suspects in the case. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather more information.

  • Investigation underway into three-vehicle crash in New Castle

    New Castle, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday morning in New Castle. The incident occurred around 4:18 a.m. on I-95 near Churchmans Marsh

    A 45-year-old Bear, Delaware resident was driving a Hyundai Tucson southbound on I-95 while a 29-year-old New Castle resident was maneuvering a Kia Forte in the adjacent right lane. At the same time, a 61-year-old man from Mineral Point, Wisconsin, had parked his Freightliner bucket truck on the right shoulder for inspection.

    The Kia unexpectedly moved onto the right shoulder and crashed into the parked bucket truck in which the driver was still. The collision forced the Kia back into the center lane, where it collided with the Hyundai, ejecting its unbelted driver, who was pronounced dead. The Hyundai driver was uninjured, while the driver of the Kübelwagen suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

    Following the crash, southbound I-95 was closed for approximately three hours as Delaware State Police investigated and cleared the area.
