After Christopher Street Day, two men are said to have made anti-gay insults and attacked a 24-year-old. The police search for the perpetrators using photos – a suspect turns himself in.

Berlin – After an attack on a 24-year-old in a mezzanine at the Brandenburger Tor subway station in Berlin-Mitte, a suspect has turned himself in. This is what the Berlin police say. The officers had used photos to search for two men who were said to have made anti-gay insults and attacked the 24-year-old after Christopher Street Day at the end of July.

The man fell to the ground and suffered severe pain in his jaw. According to the police, the two perpetrators also tried to attack the 24-year-old’s companion. Investigators are continuing to search for the second suspect using a photo. dpa
