In the early hours of October 12th, the alarm suddenly sounds on the cruise ship. A person has fallen overboard – the feverish search begins immediately. But for the woman in the water, any help comes too late. They can only be recovered completely, as British media report.

Rescuers search the sea for the missing woman

A helicopter, searchlights and boats are used to search for the missing person in the water. According to rescue workers, a lifeless person was discovered in the sea at around 2:33 a.m. The crew of the French helicopter rescues the woman. But doctors could only explain everything to her.

It is unclear exactly how the fatal incident on the cruise ship occurred. According to the BBC, the victim was said to be between 20 and 30 years old. The French police have opened an investigation.
