Netflix: After the launch of “Nobody Wants This” the news is going around

Streaming service Netflix has been providing its fans with a wide range of films and series for years – from popular classics to gripping new releases. While some rely on the tried and tested, others are looking forward to the fresh highlights. Currently, “Nobody Wants This” – with Adam Brody in the role of an unconventional rabbi – is causing a lot of conversation,

Shortly after the start of the series, news is already making the rounds.

Netflix: New series shakes up streaming service

Anyone who thinks of “Nobody Wants This” as the next romantic kitsch series is wrong. Instead, Netflix takes viewers into the world of Joanne (Kristen Bell), an outspoken sex podcaster, and Rabbi Noah (Adam Brody). A sparkling love story develops between the two, which creates tension primarily due to the contrasts between the characters: she is agnostic, he is deeply connected to religion.

Both struggle to reconcile their opposing worlds and the challenges posed by their meddling families – a balancing act that gets right under their skin. And the viewers are thrilled: With 15.9 million streams in a very short time, the success is hard to ignore!

Netflix: Fans react clearly

The enthusiasm for the series can also be felt online. So it didn’t take long for the fans to react to X. “I just finished the entire series and I want to say this: everyone should watch it. Hopefully there’s a season 2!” or “I just jumped on the ‘Nobody Wants This’ bandwagon, but damn, I loved it!” The jokes, the plot and the chemistry are second to none. Bring on season 2,” said some of the voices.

And indeed! Fans can already prepare for a season. The series’ renewal was announced by Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s chief content officer, at the Bloomberg Screentime conference in Los Angeles – just two weeks after the first season premiered on September 26th.

The industry magazine “Deadline” has already described “Nobody Wants This” as one of the most successful comedy starts in Netflix history. Looks like the streaming giant has scored a real hit!
