Muscle fiber tear confirmed: Führich will be out for “two to three weeks”

The Stuttgarter’s fears are confirmed. He missed at least two top games.

Stuttgart – National soccer player Chris Führich will miss Champions League participants VfB Stuttgart for “two to three weeks” after his injury in the DFB jersey. As the runner-up announced on Saturday, the offensive player suffered “a minor muscle fiber tear in the adductor area” during the 2-1 win in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday. Führich only came on as a substitute for Serge Gnabry in Zenica in the 82nd minute.

The 26-year-old will definitely miss the top game at record champions Bayern Munich on October 19th and the away game in the Champions League at Italian record champions Juventus Turin (October 22nd). The home game against Holstein Kiel (October 26th) is also likely to come too early for Führich, who has been called up by coach Sebastian Hoeneß in all competitive games of the season so far.
