Car keys stolen from locker room: 19-year-old steals footballer’s car

Whether the frustration after the defeat in the basement duel of the 1st regional league between Plainfeld and Altenmarkt led a 19-year-old to steal a vehicle is speculation – unfortunately it is not the case that the car was stolen from a Plainfeld player. Salzburg police officers found the car in Radstadt. The suspected thief is still at the car and could come from the UFC Altenmarkt area.

PLAINFELD, RADSTADT. As the Salzburg police report, an unknown perpetrator is said to have stolen a car from a sports field in Plainfeld on Saturday, October 12th. Thanks to a tip from the public, police officers found the car in Radstadt. The suspected thief is still in the stolen vehicle.

Stolen a car to get home faster

The 19-year-old confessed to the police about the theft. He stated that he wanted to go home immediately after the football game in Plainfeld on Saturday.

However, since his acquaintances wanted to stay at the soccer field longer, the man decided to steal a car. To do this, he is said to have stolen a car key from a backpack in the locker room and used it to open the corresponding car. The 19-year-old is reported to be at large.

The accused could possibly be a player?

“At first we thought it was a prank, as it is more likely than ever that a car is stolen from the football field.” “We hoped the car was two streets away,”

So Lukas Kuon, coach of the Plainfelder Kickerupon request. As it stands now, it is “really brazen that someone would go into the cabin and specifically look for car keys.” It’s really no longer a rascal’s story.”

He will not blame the UFC Altenmarkt, from whose environment the accused presumably comes. “They are just as interested in clarification as we are.” Nobody really wants something like that.”

Also Christopher Kiedl, sporting director of UFC Altenmarktis shocked:

“I’m in the process of unraveling this. It’s not that easy, and of course I didn’t get any further information from the police. I have a suspicion but haven’t been able to make contact yet. What I can say is that the accused is not a player on the fighting team. The age doesn’t fit. I hope this can be clarified at the latest during today’s training.”

One thing is definitely certain, if the accused is a club member, “then that’s it for his time at the UFC Altenmarkt,” said Kiedl.

Rene Eisner, coach of the Pongauerappeared at a loss when asked:

“I only recently found out about this from our athletic director and I don’t even know the details yet. A madness. I hope this doesn’t reflect on us as a club.”

The shape curve at Plainfeld is correct

In terms of sport, things are now looking much better for the Flachgauers after two wins. “The start to the season with six defeats was slow,” said Kuon, who has taken over the team on an interim basis since the coach’s resignation. “The morale is good and the boys have rewarded themselves twice recently.”

However, coaching is unlikely to be a permanent job for Kuon. “We are now looking from game to game and want to collect as many points as possible before the winter break.” We will then install a new coach in the winter so that we can go into the spring with a lot of momentum.”
