Gröbenzell: Insights into investigative work – Fürstenfeldbruck

In their true crime program: “When words kill,” ex-secret service employee Leo Martin and language profiler Patrick Rottler analyze real cases of anonymous perpetrators and thus provide insights into real investigative work. On Saturday, October 19th, the duo, who run the podcast “True Crime – The Language of Crime”, will be on the Gröbenzeller floor from 8 p.m. In doing so, they reveal the ugly side of communication on the Internet, analyze inflammatory comments and convict anonymous perpetrators. “Language always contains traces from the past and we can trace them back,” says Patrick Rottler.

According to the press release, during their appearance the two will also report on their investigative approach in the case of the Austrian doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr, who took her own life after receiving hate messages at the end of July 2022, and reveal why they believe they can still convict the perpetrator using their method . “Our program is not only intended to entertain, but also to raise awareness and help ensure that anonymous threats, insults and slanders on the Internet do not go unpunished,” says criminologist Leo Martin. Tickets are available from 29.50 euros at www.stockwerk.de/tickets.
