Terror trial: 15 months in prison for 17-year-old

The Austrian citizen is said to have sent, among other things, propaganda videos in which the killing of “infidels” was welcomed. The young man faced up to five years in prison for the crime of becoming a terrorist organization.

The convicted man received a reprieve with the instruction to complete a de-radicalization program and to pursue employment subject to social security contributions.

The 17-year-old is said to have been part of a group that glorifies IS. Four cases are still open and some have already been convicted.
