Adams and Rodgers reunited on the Jets

The New York Jets have responded to the bumpy start to the NFL season by signing a new pass receiver. As the league announced on Tuesday, Davante Adams is coming to the Big Apple from the Las Vegas Raiders and will be playing with quarterback Aaron Rodgers again in the future. Under Rodgers, the 31-year-old was selected to the Pro Bowl five times by the Green Bay Packers between 2014 and 2021.

After the first six games, the ambitious franchise, which like the New York Giants plays in East Rutherford/New Jersey, has four defeats and only two wins and is far behind its own expectations. Head coach Robert Saleh was fired after just five weeks. In return, the Raiders receive a conditional third-round pick. Trades are allowed in the NFL until November 5th.
