$10,000 reward offered for arrest in 2022 shooting of Colorado Springs rap artist

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers is calling for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for the murder of an aspiring rap artist more than two years ago.

On July 6, 2022, Springs Police responded to a reported shooting at El Morro Mobile Home Park in southeast Colorado Springs. Officers found a teenager suffering from a gunshot wound and attempted to save him, but he died at the scene. His murderer has been at large for two years and three months.

“The victim was 19-year-old Santiago Calleros III of Colorado Springs, also known in the Hispanic community as rap artist ‘Lil Travieso.'” He leaves behind a two-year-old daughter. His loss is deeply felt throughout the community,” Crime Stoppers said.

On Tuesday, Crime Stoppers announced it was offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

“Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for ANONYMOUS information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this horrific crime. If you have information about this incident, you can share it and remain anonymous,” the organization said in a press release.
