Radebeul. At the end of July it was time to cast off at “Black-Yellow Live”. This time the motto would quickly fit again – or given the current sporting developments, would it already be over? One thing is certain: at the latest after the embarrassing exit from the Saxony Cup at regional league team Chemnitz, Dynamo Dresden will be in the middle of a stormy autumn – which could be a golden one again in just two or three weeks?

The live talk of the Black and Yellow Podcast this evening from 7:53 p.m. is particularly explosive this time. Guests at the Lößnitztalschänke in Radebeul will be Dynamo’s sports director Thomas Brendel, as well as Frank Lieberam, Dynamo’s defense chief in the late 1980s/early 1990s and now player agent, as well as Uwe Karte, journalist, author and proven Dynamo expert. The team, newly formed by new coach Thomas Stamm, immediately established itself in the top group of the 3rd league. And the icing on the cake was the victory in the first round of the DFB Cup against the top second division team Fortuna Düsseldorf. In the meantime, however, specifically for three or four parties, things are getting really stuck – and it feels like it’s getting worse and worse. There is only one win from the last five competitive games.

So it’s high time and a good opportunity for an interim assessment of “Black-Yellow Live”. The hot, now stormy Dynamo autumn: Dresden between DFB Cup dreams and everyday league life – that’s what it’s supposed to be about. How good is the team really? Who are the winners and losers of the first phase of the season? Finally, of course, the question is, what’s possible in the second cup round against Darmstadt on October 30th?
