Justin Engel: Career and successes of the young tennis talent

Justin Engel has only been competing in tournaments on the professional tour since 2024. He has already stated that he wants to concentrate almost “exclusively on the professional tour” in the future, perhaps playing “one or two more youth Grand Slam tournaments” in 2025.

In July 2024 he competed in Karlsruhe as part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2024. At the Alamaty Open in October 2024, he beat 133rd-ranked Coleman Wong in his first round game. Engel is currently listed as number 458 in the world and is by far the best player under the age of 18. Only 17 tennis players under the age of 20 are better placed than the 17-year-old.
