The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets are tied one game apiece in the 2024 National League Championship Series, and now the action moves from Hollywood to the Big Apple for Wednesday night’s deciding Game 3. These are the moments of tension and (hopefully) drama worth cherishing during the 2024 MLB Playoffs.

The Dodgers won Game 1 convincingly, but the Mets struck back in Game 2 after third baseman Mark Vientos hit a grand slam. Game 3 pits two starting pitchers who haven’t been at their best lately in the Mets’ first NLCS game since 2015 in front of what is expected to be an excited Citi Field crowd in New York.

The Dodgers will turn to Walker Buehler, a veteran known for performing well in the playoffs despite struggling at times this season. The Mets will counter with Luis Severino, who is on nine days off after a difficult end to the regular season and a loss in Game 2 of the National League Division Series.
