Race weekend in the USA (Austin) 2024 on TV & live stream

After a month-long break in the 2024 Formula 1 racing season, the US Grand Prix continues this weekend in Austin (Texas). You can find out here when and where you can watch the race on TV and live stream in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Race USA (Austin) – Formula 1 2024

The USA Grand Prix / Austin on the “Circuit of The Americas” started on Sunday, 2October 0, 2024, at 9:00 p.m. German time. You can do the race in Pay TV on Sky watch or join the live stream Heaven/Wow turn on.

To experience Verstappen, Perez and Hamilton, they have different options in the different German-speaking countries.

Germany

Last year, the rights were entirely owned by Sky, so only four races were broadcast free of charge on the pay-TV provider’s YouTube channel. However, unexpectedly, Sky and RTL announced a renewed collaboration at the end of 2023, so that in the 2024 racing season again 7 races will be shown on RTL. Overall, RTL will broadcast the following races on free TV and live stream (via RTL+):

• 03/02/2024 – Bahrain Grand Prix (Sakhir)
• July 21, 2024 – Hungarian Grand Prix (Hungaroring)
• July 28, 2024 – Belgian Grand Prix (Spa-Francorchamps)
• 08/25/2024 – Dutch Grand Prix (Zandvoort)
• 09/01/2024 – Italian Grand Prix (Monza)
• September 15, 2024 – Grand Prix of Azerbaijan (Baku)
• November 24th, 2024 – Las Vegas Grand Prix

For dying 17 more races you still need access to it Sky sports channel. You can watch these either with a regular “Sky Q” subscription with a sports package (from 20 euros per month) or the “Live Sports” package from Wow (from 24.99 euros per month).

The “F1 TV Pro” subscription is still denied to German viewers due to Sky’s exclusive rights. With the “Access” subscription offered in this country, you can only follow the leaderboard live:

Austria

In Austria, TV broadcasting is again split between ServusTV and ORF 1. The two channels can be seen free of charge in live streams in Austria via ServusTV On and ORF-TVThek.

Alternatively, you can follow the entire race weekend from different perspectives and German commentary with the F1 TV Pro subscription (64.99 euros per year or 7.99 euros per month).

Switzerland

In Switzerland, all races will be broadcast again on the SRF channels. You can watch the channels in Switzerland for free in the live stream via Play SRF.

Alternatively, you can watch the entire race weekend from different perspectives and with German or French commentary with the F1 TV Pro subscription (69.99 euros per year or 8.49 euros per month).
