The Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2024one of the best domestic markets in India T20 cricket Tournaments will be held in six cities from October 17th to November 12th. The tournament is organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

The matches will be played in Surat, Vadodara, Mumbai, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram and Lucknow. Live streaming and broadcast of Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2024 will be available in India.

The Senior Women’s T20 League was started in 2008-09 as the Senior Women’s T20 League and next season will be the 16th edition of the Women’s T20 League cricket Tournament with 37 teams in action.

Mumbai, led by Jemimah Rodrigues, defeated Uttarakhand in last year’s final. The defending champions will be placed in Group A alongside Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir and Mizoram.

• Group A: Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Mizoram
• Group B: Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Pondicherry, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh
• Group C: Bengal, Baroda, Hyderabad, Jharkhand, Saurashtra, Nagaland, Manipur
• Group D: Kerala, Railways, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Tripura, Chandigarh, Sikkim
• Group E: Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Assam, Bihar, Meghalaya

The 37 teams were divided into five groups. Groups A and B consist of eight teams, while Groups C, D and E consist of seven teams each. Each team plays in a single round-robin format against the other teams in their respective group. The top two teams in each group qualify for the knockout rounds.

The five league leaders, together with the best second team from all groups based on points or net run rate, qualify directly for the quarterfinals. The remaining four runners-up will play in the preliminary quarterfinals.

Railways, the most dominant team in the history of the competition, has won 11 titles and lifted the cup for the first time in the 2009/10 season. Other champions include Delhi (2017-18), Punjab (2018-19) and Mumbai (2023). Maharashtra has been runner-up five times.

Both the semi-final and final of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2024 will be played at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
