WCL Recruitment 2024: Registration for 902 Trade Apprenticeship Vacancies begins at westerncoal.in

Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has begun accepting applications for Trade Apprentice positions in 2024. Registration began on October 15th and runs until October 28th. Candidates who meet the requirements can apply online at westerncoal.in, the official website of WCL. The registration period runs until October 28th. According to the official announcement, the organization will fill 902 positions as a result of these recruitment efforts. There are 61 vocational training places for first-year students and 841 ITI trade apprentice places available for security forces.

WCL Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old. Age restrictions apply for SC, ST and OBC applicants. Applicants who are enrolled in regular study programs at an educational institution or who have already completed training as part of apprenticeship training are excluded from applying.

WCL Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

For each profession there is a separate group of candidates selected by the respective organization. In addition, the institution screens applicants, checks documents, conducts physical examinations, etc. Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, each institution prepares a merit list, based on which the preliminary selection is made.

WCL Recruitment 2024: Training period and salary details

As per the training norm, the ITI craft apprentices will receive 12-month apprenticeship training while the first-year craft apprentices will receive relevant training. Depending on their qualifications, selected trainees will receive monthly stipends ranging from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 8,050. For ITI craft apprentices, the training lasts a whole year.
