Third man charged with murder. The investigation into the death of David Graham in Uddingston is ongoing

A third man was arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in South Lanarkshire.

At around 7.35pm on October 6, emergency services were called to General’s Gate, near Old Glasgow Road, Uddingston, following reports of an injured man.

Rescue workers found David Graham, from Cambuslang, seriously injured while members of the public tried to help him.

The 38-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but was pronounced dead.

Following a post-mortem, police said they were treating Mr Graham’s death as a murder.

A 28-year-old man was the third person arrested in connection with the death, it was confirmed Wednesday.

This comes after a 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with Friday’s death and released pending further investigation.

Another man, Liam Kippen, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on October 10 and was charged with murder.

The 29-year-old, from Motherwell, pleaded no contest and was remanded in custody pending a further court appearance.

Police Scotland said the investigation into Mr Graham’s death was ongoing.
