Here’s how to watch The Summit tonight (10/16/24): FREE live stream, time, channel

The next episode of The Summit is called “Snakes and Ladders.”

“The Summit” airs Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.

  • LIVE STREAM: Fans can watch CBS without cable on fuboTV (free trial), DirecTV Stream (free trial), and Paramount+ (free trial).

The plot reads: “As the hikers struggle with the difficult terrain, the split in the alliances among them becomes clear. Noticing the group’s slow pace, the mountain ranger offers a suggestion to help them stay on track to reach the summit in time, but not without both individual and collective consequences…”

In the new reality show, 16 people are on a hike through the New Zealand Alps, trying to reach the summit in just 14 days to keep a share of the $1 million they are carrying in their backpacks.

CBS said: “But not everyone will make it, as these strangers must work together to overcome the dangerous terrain, relentless Antarctic winds, heartbreaking challenges and heartbreaking eliminations on their way to the summit.”

“On this journey they are pursued by the ‘Guardian of the Mountain’, who surprises the hikers with brutal twists and forced decisions that complicate an already strenuous climb. “Morales and relationships are tested when they have to decide what to do when someone falls behind, because if the group doesn’t reach the ‘summit’ in time, all prize money will be lost.”

Last week saw the elimination of Bo Martin, who was eliminated after a bridge they all had to cross collapsed along with him. Due to his elimination, the prize money fell to $875,000. The money decreases for each person who leaves. The money does not increase if someone is voted out.

Shweta Choudhury, 28, was voted out.
