New Pokémon leaks prompt Ash’s actors to refute a cruel rumor

New Pokémon leaks prompt Ash’s actors to refute a cruel rumor

Pokémon has had its ups and downs, but at the moment we’re not sure how to describe the franchise. All eyes are on us Pokémon these days thanks to an unprecedented leak. Not long ago, an internet user took to social media with tons of never-before-seen content Pokémon Assets ranging from the games to the anime. The massive leak included reports of Ash Ketchum’s exit from the anime, and now that rumor is being pushed back.

From whom, you may ask? Well, the rejection comes from Rica Matsumoto herself. The voice actress behind Ash Ketchum doesn’t want to oppose the new leaks Pokémon. She addressed a particularly cruel rumor on social media Pokémon anime that suggested Ash’s exit was due to cast drama.

RICA MATSUMOTO denies the new Pokémon anime leaks

According to the leak, Ash saw the end of his era in the anime for several reasons, including the tension behind the scenes. Reports emerged that “strained relationships” between Matsumoto and Ikue Otani (the voice of Pikachu) were causing problems within the cast. It didn’t take long for Matsumoto to hear about this report and she took to X (Twitter) to directly deny it.

“Someone is making this up. Don’t worry, nothing like that happened. I’ve been friends with Ikue since we were newbies, and she even came to my house as a guest [tour]” shared the actress.

“I don’t know you, so do you enjoy writing these things? Nobody is happy about it. I find it tasteless and childish.”

The post that alerted Matsumoto to the leak has since been deleted. However, that doesn’t mean the leak itself has gone away. If anything, there are more eyes on the situation than ever before, and Pokémon is facing a historic crisis. It’s not every day that content from this decade pops up on the internet, and Game Freak didn’t see this leak coming.

WHAT DOES POKéMON’S BIG LEAK MEAN FOR THE FUTURE?

After all, it’s called a leak Pokémon Teraleak due to its size. From unusual game sprites to never-before-heard music and character sprites, lots Pokémon Content leaked last week. The information coming from a single user on social media is part of a terabyte-level leak that extends across the entire network PokémonThe lifespan. Game Freak, the company that made this Pokémon Title, didn’t specifically address this massive leak. However, it was confirmed to have been targeted by a hacker back in August 2024. At that time, Game Freak learned that its servers had been illegally accessed and more than 2,000 files containing employees’ personal information had been hacked.

As for that massive leak? Now there is no telling how the information came about, and it seems unlikely that any official party will admit to the theft.

With so much leaked information over the internet, it has become difficult to distinguish the real leaks from the false information. Many anime files were found in the terabyte leak, but as far as Matsumoto knows, there is no truth to this cruel anime rumor. So if you thought that Ash left the anime for some nefarious reason, then you may think again.

Ash may not be included in the picture Pokémon Anime, but the TV series is far from finished. The franchise has moved on to some new main cast members being introduced Pokemon Horizons: The Series. Roy and Liko are now leading the way, and their adventures are delighting a new generation of fans. Here you can find current episodes of Pokemon Horizons: The Series is now available on Netflix and a new batch of episodes is set to release in the US just before Thanksgiving.
