Before the tenth generation of the Pokémon series appears, the offshoot Pokémon Legends: ZA for the Switch awaits us in 2025. Although the release isn’t that far away, we don’t know much about the game since the first teaser.

However, the major hacking attack on Game Freak a few days ago revealed a few more details. This also includes three other Pokémon that will come into the game – two of them even with a new form.

How GamePro deals with illegal hacking attacks:

The situation surrounding Game Freak cannot be compared to normal leaks. If it is usually about insiders passing on information, this is a criminal offense. Although the situation is currently not fully clear, in addition to gameplay assets and release plans, private information from Game Freak employees is also affected.

GamePro will provide coverage of the hacking attack but will not link to the leaked files. The stolen data is now public and will not disappear if we ignore the issue. We see it as our journalistic duty to process and classify the published information as well as its illegal procurement and possible consequences for you.

Two completely new mega evolutions

There is only one teaser trailer for Pokémon Legends: ZA so far, but it already reveals a few details. Among other things, we know that the game will take us to Illumina City in the Kalos region and of course there will be some well-known Pokémon like Pikachu, Gyarados, Dragonair, Feelinara and more:

The trailer also features the return of mega evolutions, whose symbol can be seen briefly at the end. This is particularly interesting in view of the new leak of the Game Freak files. This results in three more Pokémon that are supposed to appear in Legends: ZA.

This also includes Flunschlink, but the other two Pokémon are probably far more interesting: that’s what it’s supposed to be Mega evolutions of the legendary Pokémon Zygarde and the mysterious Pokémon Zeraora act.

This means that two completely new forms have been confirmed, at least unofficially, and it is also quite likely that we will get more new mega evolutions in the game.

There are also a few other alleged details about Pokémon legends in the leak: ZA. Accordingly, the game was originally planned for a release in 2024, but then had to be pushed back to 2025. However, it is still in development for the current Nintendo Switch.

Supposedly the hacker even has access to a completely playable build of Legends: ZA. However, this cannot be proven because the person has not yet posted any clips of it online.

That’s a good thing, because even if the version is already playable, it is an unfinished version that should not reflect the finished product.
