The Xiaomi Watch H1 E is a fairly affordable smartwatch that also comes to customers with a real blood pressure measurement. Apart from that, the Watch H1 E has a fairly wide range of functions, but it is not entirely without limitations.

The range of smartwatches with blood pressure measurement is no longer that small, although there are now also various models that actually not only measure optically, but also use an air cushion – the Huawei Watch D2, which measures in this way, is also available in Germany. Xiaomi is now offering a new smartwatch with such a measurement. The Xiaomi Watch H1 E is now available at a price equivalent to around 230 euros, which already represents a reduced price. Availability is currently limited in the home market of China – information about an international release is not yet available.

Compared to the Xiaomi Watch H1, which Xiaomi released last year, there are some differences. The Xiaomi Watch H1 E no longer has an ECG function, so signs of cardiac arrhythmias, for example, cannot be recognized by the watch. There is also a difference in terms of blood pressure measurement, so the Xiaomi Watch H1 E should also be able to carry out blood pressure measurements automatically and at night. The Xiaomi Watch H1 also has FDA certification (Class 3), while for the Watch H1 E Xiaomi relies entirely on confirmation from a Chinese certification body.

The watch is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. An optical sensor system is available so that the heart rate or the oxygen saturation of the blood can be measured. It is possible to record sporting activities, but the new smartwatch does not come with a cellular modem. The battery life should be up to 9 days with typical use, but then the screen will probably not be able to be activated permanently.
