Weekend schedule and broadcast information for the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Playoffs in Las Vegas

The NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Playoffs enter the Round of 8 this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Should one of the eight remaining Cup and Xfinity playoff drivers win this weekend, they will secure a spot in next month’s championship race in Phoenix.

Weekend weather at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Friday: Sunny skies with a high of 68 degrees, no chance of rain and wind gusts of 18 mph as Xfinity qualifying begins.

Saturday: Sunny skies with a high of 73 degrees, no chance of rain and wind gusts of 10 mph as Cup qualifying begins. Sunny skies with a high of 74 degrees, no chance of rain and wind gusts of 8 mph early in the Xfinity race.

Sunday: Sunny skies with highs of 70 degrees, no chance of rain and wind gusts of 3 mph as the Cup race begins.
