Three people in custody after attempted murder in Greene County, the sheriff’s office said

GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – Three people are in custody following a shooting on Old Stage Road, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

The office said officers responded to the 7000 block of the street around 3:40 a.m. Friday for a burglary call.

“The caller stated that someone had broken into his home and that he went to a neighbor’s house to call for help because his girlfriend was still inside,” GCSO said.

Not long after, GCSO said, a woman called from the home and said she had been shot twice. When officers went inside, they reportedly found a 24-year-old who had been shot in the hand and back.

In a later update, GCSO said Mikaila Chapman-Delotto, 23, Stephen Turner, 20, and Trevonde Conner, 29, were in custody.

Chapman-Delotto and Turner are charged with aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, theft and criminal liability for attempted first-degree murder.

Conner is charged with attempted first-degree murder, specifically aggravated robbery, specifically aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and theft.

The woman was flown to Johnson City Medical Center and was stable, GCSO said.
