A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses regarding criminal damage to garages in Frogwell, Chippenham.

“Sometime on September 26th, garage doors were spray-painted with offensive graffiti.

“Officers have carried out CCTV and house-to-house inquiries and the council has removed the paint.

Before it was removed, Cllr Nic Puntis, the representative for Cepen Park and Derriads, said he was “disgusted” by the recent graffiti.

At the time he added: “I am disgusted by the graffiti on a wall along Frogwell.

“It’s on a wall that’s directly in view of the elementary school.

“If anyone has any information about who may have done this, please DM me.

“I’ll have it removed, even if I have to do it myself.”
