WEDNESDAY, OCT. 9

US 81/287 northbound — A Greyhound bus driver called about an unruly passenger. The bus driver stated that the man was very drunk and asked him to get off the bus because he had caused a disturbance on the bus. Officers arrived and found several signs of intoxication. The man was taken into custody and transported to the Wise County Jail.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 9

TEXAS 114 EAST — The plaintiff was called with reference to a warning about criminal offenses from a former employee. The deputy arrived and issued a trespassing warning.

OAK HILL CIRCLE – A third-party caller told her sister and nephew that they had been kidnapped by a man. Officers conducted an investigation, filed missing persons records and conducted a search of all known residences.

TEXAS 114 WEST — The complainant advised that a storage unit at the site was broken into.

GOOD NIGHT TRAIL — A 63-year-old woman said her son was upset about not receiving his medication and became angry. The woman said when she called the sheriff’s office, her son took the phone from her and later left the scene.

BEYETTE STREET — A 79-year-old woman said someone opened an Apple credit card in her name.

US 81/287 NORTH – The complainant called and reported that some of the rigs had been tampered with and some gates had been torn down.

EL DORADO STREET — The deputy arrived on scene and determined that all parties were engaged in civil matters. The deputy separated all parties and issued a misdemeanor order against one of the parties on the property.

FARM STREET 2952 – A man called 911 to report that his 90-year-old father had burned himself in his store. The complainant stated that the father had no pulse. Officers responded and contacted investigators.

THURSDAY, OCT. 10

ROGERS ROAD – Officers were dispatched to the apartment due to a disturbance call. The MPs spoke to all parties on site. It turned out the disturbance was verbal, not physical, and the man had left the apartment before police arrived. Those at the scene were advised to call back if the man returned and continued to cause problems.

COUNTRY ROAD 3680 — A caller said her drunken son was causing a disturbance. Officers determined there was no wrongdoing and the caller stated she was willing to take her son to a hotel to sleep.

COUNTRY ROAD 3971 – Officers responded to an emergency call at the aforementioned intersection for an intoxicated male who was evicted due to a previous disturbance. The man caused a disturbance in the vehicle again. He was taken into custody and transported to the Wise County Jail.

FLOW ROAD – A man told his soon-to-be ex-wife that she was causing a disturbance in his RV. The disturbance was only verbal and the parties were separated for the evening.

FARM STREET 1658 – The complainant advised that a vehicle was abandoned in a ditch off the roadway near FM 2952. The deputy arrived and determined the vehicle had to be removed from the ditch due to early morning weather conditions. The vehicle was towed to the Wise County Sheriff’s Office impound lot.

PRIVATE STREET 1382 – A woman told her son that he ran away from home because he had a mental attack with other family members in the apartment. Officers located the teen approximately three miles from his home. Deputies conducted an investigation.

COUNTRY ROAD 4659 – The plaintiff advised that $20 was stolen by a man.

COUNTRY ROAD 4280 – A 35-year-old woman stated that her mobile home had been broken into, but that it was on the property to which she did not have access.

COUNTRY ROAD 4757 — A 28-year-old woman said there was a man on her property. Deputies issued a trespass warning.

FRIDAY, OCT. 11

COUNTRY ROAD 4280 — A woman reported her vehicle stolen.

PRIVATE STREET 4420 — The complainant said her father hit her in the face during a verbal argument, which caused pain. The father left the scene and was stopped by a police officer nearby, where he was detained. After interviews with both parties, it was determined that the father was the primary perpetrator and he was taken into custody.

ROGERS ROAD – A woman said she found an inappropriate text message on her husband’s work cell phone. The complainant advised her husband to come in to get the cell phone and the complainant refused to give the phone to her husband because she would use it in court as evidence for a divorce. The complainant said that the husband grabbed the cell phone, hit the complainant on the right side of the head and pushed her to the ground. Husband was arrested for assault on a family member.
