Episode 4 of Dandadan will increase the tension as Turbo Granny’s curse tightens its grip on Okarun.

Now, as Momo’s mysterious grandmother, Seiko Ayase, joins the fight, her cryptic knowledge of the supernatural gives the ghost and the alien believer new insight into what lies ahead.

The episode began with Momo’s grandmother, Seiko Ayase, attempting to prove her skills as a spirit medium on a television show by answering questions from a celebrity. However, all of Seiko’s answers were incorrect, making them seem like a fraudulent medium.

After the show, Seiko took a taxi home and encountered a possessed Okarun in front of the Ayase residence. Before Okarun could harm Momo, Seiko intervened, threatening to lift the curse and Okarun if necessary.

Momo later woke up in her room and questioned Seiko about Okarun’s condition. Seiko was still suspicious of Momo’s relationship with him and refused to reveal details as she bore a small grudge against her.

Finally, Seiko instructed Momo to visit the main shrine. Momo learned that Okarun was safe there and informed Seiko of the situation. Momo also revealed that she could use psychic powers.

Seiko then explained Turbo Granny’s origins, describing how local spirits are strongest in her territory and speculating that Turbo Granny merged with the spirit of her tunnel.

She then advised Momo to give up Okarun and avoid further collaboration with Turbo Granny, but Momo refused. Seiko suggested playing tag with Turbo Granny, emphasizing her speed and instructing Momo to lead her away from the city without getting caught.

When talking about their barriers, Seiko mentioned that they could only hold Turbo Granny temporarily and that this would not be enough to defeat her. She added that Momo had to rely on Okarun’s speed in his Turbo Granny form, even though Okarun doubted his own abilities.

As time passed, Momo struggled to hold back the curse on Okarun, who was distracted by his urgent need to go to the bathroom. Meanwhile, Momo explained how she kept the curse at bay and Seiko told her to use her senses to make the task easier.

It was also revealed that the celebrity who judged Seiko at the beginning of the episode had lied about his life, proving that she was a real spirit medium. Okarun interrupted, desperately searching for the toilet, finally relieving himself while Momo looked away awkwardly.

Seiko and Momo continued to discuss Momo’s powers, with Seiko speculating that Momo’s abilities had been sealed. Before they could continue, Turbo Granny appeared in the bathroom.

She was unconscious when Turbo Granny threatened Momo, saying she could curse anyone to death as long as Okarun saw him. Turbo then told Granny Momo to confront her at the tunnel, threatening to curse anyone nearby if she refused.

After Turbo Granny left, Seiko and Okarun woke up from their daze. Later, Seiko held a small ceremony and presented Momo and Okarun with special clothing to protect them from evil spirits.

Before they left, Seiko told Momo not to die and Momo promised to return alive. The episode ended with the main characters preparing to confront Turbo Granny.
