Sabrina Ionescu’s 3-pointer in the final seconds of Game 3 extended New York’s lead to 2-1 and gave the Liberty a chance to tie the series on Friday night. Breanna Stewart delivered an outstanding performance in the 80-77 win over the Lynx, scoring a game-high 30 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Minnesota got off to a strong start in Game 3, jumping out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter, but New York cut the deficit to one by the end of the third quarter. Napheesa Collier scored 22 points in the loss, setting a new record for most points in a single postseason run.
