Prince Harry cuts a fine figure while surfing – this is proven by a clip of the royal that is causing a stir online.

Prince Harry, 40, has apparently settled in well in California. At least the British royal, who has been living on the American west coast since 2020, cuts a good figure as a surfer. This is proven by a video on Instagram in which the 40-year-old can be seen surfing.

The clip, shared by Tahiti surfing star Raimana Van Bastolaer, shows the Duke of Sussex expertly taking off with his surfboard from a jet ski. The video was recorded at a “surf ranch” in California that is run by surfing superstar Kelly Slater, 52.

Van Bastolaer wrote of the clip: “In Tahiti we still call you Prince Harry. But at the Surf Ranch you are my brother. It was an honor to have you surf with me and Kelly Slater.” The wave Harry surfs is artificially created. Elite level surfing competitions are also reportedly taking place.

Prince Harry was recently traveling

It is not known when the photos of Prince Harry surfing were taken. Most recently, Duchess Meghan’s husband, 43, was away from his adopted home in California for about two weeks. At the end of September he performed several appearances in New York, then traveled to London for a charity event. From there, King Charles’ son, 75, went to Africa, where he visited a youth aid organization in Lesotho that he co-founded.

Harry then traveled back to California, where Meghan and their two children Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, were waiting for him. However, the Duke of Sussex is said not to have acquired his surfing skills in the four years he has lived there. According to “The Mirror”, he was spotted on a surfing weekend on the coast of Cornwall in 2012 – at that time with his brother Prince William, 42. Harry is said to have hardly any contact with him and the rest of the royal family after he Publicly attacked his family in interviews, a Netflix documentary and his autobiography after his move.
