Two men were killed and one was injured in separate shootings in western Palm Beach County this week

BELLE GLADE – Two men are dead and another is injured in separate shootings in Belle Glade this week, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Investigators did not initially release the names of the deceased.

An incident occurred late Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the 800 block of Southwest Avenue B. According to investigators, a man was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds shortly before 11 p.m. Information on suspects or a motive was not immediately available, the sheriff’s office said.

On Wednesday, October 16, sheriff’s investigators responded to another shooting in the 200 block of Southwest Fifth Street. The criminal police were on site shortly before 8 p.m. and found two people who had been hit by gunfire. One man was dead at the scene. The other suffered a gunshot wound to the foot and was taken to a hospital.

As of Thursday afternoon, investigators were still trying to identify a suspect and a motive.

The shootings occurred about a quarter mile apart.
