The 2025 Radical Cup schedule includes at least two IndyCar weekends

The 2025 Radical Cup North America schedule has been released, featuring at least two events with the NTT IndyCar Series. The series will debut again at Sebring International Raceway in early March, while Road Atlanta will return to the program next year along with Lime Rock Park for the first time.

The Radical Cup is looking to build on another year of record entries – in 2024 there was an average of over 30 cars per event, including a high of 39 entries in Toronto – and invite top-class competition in every class from gentleman drivers and veterans as well as the next generation Set a mark.

The live-streamed series offers top-notch hospitality and more track time than most, with three 40-minute races plus a qualifying session and a minimum 60-minute practice session. Three classes and an additional subclass are aimed at drivers in different career phases.

Pro 1340 with the slightly less powerful SR3 proves to be the perfect first step in the series and attracts drivers from country clubs and new drivers to the series. However, the competition is also strong, as seen this year with sim star and newcomer Suellio Almeida, who defeated former Le Mans starter Chris McMurry.

With downforce levels and lap times similar to USF2000, Pro 1500 is the gathering place for tomorrow’s stars, and this year part-time Indy NXT driver Jordan Missig proved his skills ahead of Nick d’Orlando and Evan Slater. The 1500cc Radical SR3 class is also good for older riders, and those over 30 can aim for the Gold 1500 title while trying to take wins away from the younger riders, like Jack Yang did at Road America.

Platinum features the 425 horsepower turbocharged SR10, which, along with the minimum driver age of 30, attracts the likes of 2002 American Le Mans champion Jon Field and former SCCA Runoffs P1 champion Chip Romer.

“The Radical Cup continues to be a great breeding ground for talent young and old – just look at the alumni – but also a place where people come back year after year. “So it’s important to offer new challenges,” said Tom, Director of Radical Motorsport North American Drewer. “This year we are excited to be back at Road Atlanta after a few years and debuting the series at the legendary Lime Rock Park. Combined with the big spectator IndyCar events at Barber and Road America, it’s going to be another fantastic season and we have another big event to announce.”
