After several leaks revealing Sunday and Fugue’s alleged jerseys, prominent leaker StepLeaks shared the unofficial names of the characters’ signature beams. According to a Reddit post, Sunday’s cone of light is titled “Return to Terra/Earth,” while Fugue’s cone of light is titled “For every journey, there is always a way home.” It’s important to note that the names of the light cones are rough translations of their original Chinese names, so there’s still a chance they could change slightly in the near future.

Lots in the comments Honkai: Star Rail Fans shared their interpretations of the Light Cones’ names. In particular, they believe Sunday’s beam of light is a reference to the fall of Icarus after flying too close to the sun, which could symbolize the figure’s own fall. It’s also safe to assume that the rumored Beams of Light follow the Path of Harmony and the Path of Nihility, and each will likely have stat buffs that benefit both characters.

As a Harmony character, Sunday will serve as support, and there are rumors that he may have the ability to regenerate ultimate energy from allies. Meanwhile, Fugue is essentially the damage-dealing counterpart to Tingyun, as she transforms into a Nihility character from Harmony and can reportedly deal burn damage over time while supporting allies. It will be interesting to see how these rumored beams of light will benefit the new 5-star characters in battle, or even existing characters following the same paths.


Apart from the 5-star banner characters, not much is known about it yet Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7, except it will be released sometime in November. There is also speculation that this could be the last update before the release of version 3.0, which will debut the supposedly Greek-inspired planet Honkai: Star Rail and introduce more exciting additions to the game.
