Dominic Stricker showed no signs of nervousness at the start of the party. The Swiss played freely and aggressively and was particularly convincing on his own serve. Stricker was able to get two break chances in the third game, but Dimitrov skillfully fended them off.

Dimitrov pulls away in the second set
