Since its first season in 2021, “7 vs. Wild” has become the most successful survival series and one of the most popular reality shows in the country. The show started as a pure, rather rudimentary YouTube format, thought up by creator Fritz Meinecke.

However, the success bore fruit. Since season three, “7 vs. Wild” has been running exclusively on Amazon’s ad-financed streaming platform Freevee, with YouTube coming later.

The decision is certainly causing criticism because the participants are only allowed to publish their popular reaction videos after they have been broadcast on YouTube. Season four of “7 vs. Wild” also follows the “Freevee first” rhythm.

“7 vs. Wild” Season 4: Then comes episode 7 on Freevee

Five episodes of the season are already available on the Freevee streaming service. Episode 7 of “7 vs. Wild” Season 4 will be released on October 22nd.

“7 vs. Wild” season 4: Then comes episode 3 on YouTube

The episodes appear on YouTube 13 days later, so only two episodes are available there. The next episode of “7 vs. Wild” Season 4, Episode 3 will be released on October 21st on YouTube.

“7 vs. Wild” season 4: participants, concept and filming location

The new edition “7 vs. Wild” throws the previous concept overboard. In season three, the candidates were allowed to camp in pairs in the wilderness. Season four now relies entirely on the team factor. Theoretically, all seven participants can work together.

The squadron simulates the scenario of a plane crash in the wilderness. In this case: the vast wasteland of New Zealand. The temperatures here are below zero at night, but the candidates could work with the last of the wreck.

The field of participants consists of Joey Kelly (musician), Stefan Hinkelmann (YouTuber and ex-soldier), Joe Vogel (survival expert), FlyingUwe (YouTuber), Julia Beautx (influencer), LetsHugo (streamer) and Selfiesandra ( creator).

Victoria Swarovski herself appeared as a candidate on “Let’s Dance”. In 2016 she was crowned “Dancing Star” of her season with professional dance partner Erich Klann. But the broadcaster obviously didn’t want to let go of the Austrian completely. It wasn’t until two years later that she returned – only this time as a presenter. She succeeds Sylvie Meis and has since led the popular dance format alongside Daniel Hartwich.
