U2 shows short film about the making of the video for “Vertigo” – KSHE 95

U2 shared one Short documentation about the creation of the video for their 2004 hit “dizziness“, the lead single from their eleventh studio album, How to dismantle a nuclear bomb.

“We finally managed to convince someone to shoot a video of us somewhere warm,” he says of their location in a Spanish desert, “and what happens? It continues to rain. We’re getting hurricane force winds. Sandblasted.”

The video is then shot Bonowho shares his “love”.[s] the smell of sand hit my nose in the morning.”

Edge later jokes, “It’s not easy being a rock star these days.”

The video for “Vertigo,” directed by the team at Alex & Martinwon a Grammy in 2005 for Best Short Form Music Video.

The release of the video is part of the band’s 20th anniversary celebrations How to dismantle a nuclear bomb. To mark the occasion, the band is also releasing a so-called “shadow album”. How to Reassemble a Nuclear Bomb, featuring 10 previously unreleased tracks from the album’s recording sessions. It will be released on November 29th exclusively for Record Store Day Black Friday along with a digital release.

Additionally, U2 will release a special 20th anniversary remastered edition on November 22nd How to dismantle a nuclear bombwith the bonus track “Fast Car” as well as a package with the remaster and the Shadow album together, dubbed How to Disassemble a Nuclear Bomb (Re-Assemble Edition).
