Ninkear A15 Pro: Quite powerful laptop starts cheaply with fingerprint sensor and two USB Type C

The Ninkear A15 Pro is available now. It is a mid-range notebook that is currently available from Geekmaxi at a price of 599 euros. Shipping takes place from a warehouse within the EU, which results in a shorter shipping time and there is no risk of import taxes. We have already tested two of the manufacturer’s devices and were sometimes pleasantly surprised. There is one limitation with the keyboard: it does not correspond to the standard German layout.

The AMD Ryzen 5 6600H uses an APU with six computing cores, which can process up to twelve threads at the same time – the maximum clock frequency is given as 4.5 GHz. The AMD Radeon 660M, which is integrated into the APU, is used to accelerate graphics. Ninkear supplies the A15 Pro with 32 gigabytes of RAM, which is generously sized, and the built-in SSD brings it to one terabyte. An SSD connected via PCIe 3.0 is used, which no longer necessarily corresponds to the standard of modern systems. A second SSD can be installed.

Ninkear is definitely not setting a new standard with the display. It measures 15.6 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels; the typical brightness is given as just 220 cd/m². The refresh rate is 60 Hz; according to the specifications, the NTSC color space is only covered to 45 percent. Two USB Type C and USB 3.0 Type A are available, plus HDMI, a headphone jack and a microSD card slot. WiFi 802.11ax and Bluetooth are supported. There are two speakers, the 1.81 kilogram notebook has a 54.29 Wh battery, and authentication is possible with a fingerprint.
