A new TikTok trend last weekend prompted numerous Chase Bank customers to take advantage of a glitch at their bank’s ATMs. TikTok videos promise to obtain enormous sums of cash. However, the effortless path to wealth quickly ended in financial disaster for the users of the Infinite Money Glitch. In addition, Chase Bank classified this as fraud and reacted accordingly.

Viral TikTok trend encourages check fraud

TikTok videos that went viral deceived Chase Bank customers by tricking them into taking advantage of a temporary glitch at Chase Bank’s ATM. The Infinite Money Glitch is said to allow customers to withdraw large amounts of money. The system error allowed them to deposit bad checks and withdraw money before Chase could verify and post them.
