Rhein Fire is in the final again

What a semi-final! What excitement! It was pouring with rain in the Waldau stadium, the ball was soaking wet, the wide receivers had long since taken off their gloves to at least be a little more sure of catching it. The opponents on September 22nd in Gelsenkirchen will be the Vienna Vikings.

Stuttgart looked like the winner

For a long time, almost the whole game over, the Swabians looked like the sure winners. After a very dominant offensive drive, the first hosts in the Kickers Stadium scored an early touchdown. In return, Fire equalized and then led 7:6 because van Santen, unlike his Stuttgart colleague, had previously converted the extra point. After that, however, Surge pulled away.
