The Zug team beat the title holders in the EWHL Euro Cup at the end of their preparations. The group phase of the current edition awaits next weekend.

The EVZ will travel to Budapest for the European Cup group stage with a powerful success. Last Saturday, the Zug team won the warm-up match against title holders Memmingen 5-2. Naemi Herzig equalized the early 0-1 deficit (14th minute) before the German scored again. Lena-Marie Lutz (27th), Lara Stalder (53rd), Annic Büchi (54th) and again Stalder (57th) scored the Zug goals in front of 261 fans in the Bossard Arena.
