Starting in spring 2025: “Frieda – With Fire and Flame”: New series with Sebastian Deyle

Sat.1 is expanding its range to include an early evening series. 81 episodes of “Frieda – Mit Feuer und Flamme” are planned for spring 2025. Sebastian Deyle is also involved.

TV star Sebastian Deyle (46) appears in a new Sat.1 early evening series. As was announced on Monday (September 9), Sat.1 has started production of the new fire brigade series “Frieda – Mit Feuer und Flamme”. The series, consisting of 81 episodes, is to be broadcast on Sat.1 and Joyn from spring 2025 at 6 p.m. every day. Filming will take place in Saxon Switzerland. In addition to Deyle, known from “Marienhof”, “Sturm der Liebe” and “Rote Rosen”, the series will also feature Laura Lippmann (34), known from her role in “GZSZ”, and former “AWZ” star Christopher Kohn (39).

“Frieda – With Fire and Flame”: This is the plot

Laura Lippmann plays the single intensive care nurse Frieda Meisner, who is sold together with her 18-year-old daughter Pippa (Natascha Weitzendorf) in her hometown of Liebitz in Saxon Switzerland. Her support is urgently needed there: Mayor Felix Groneberg (Kohn), Pippa’s father and Frieda’s ex-partner, is planning to close the local fire department. This is met with resistance from Frieda, the daughter of the former fire chief Otto (Andreas Borcherding), who decides to join the volunteer fire department. In the upcoming Sat.1 series, viewers can also expect a love chaos: Frieda has to choose between the charming fireman Mirko Renic (Deyle) and her former partner Felix…

As Sat.1 announced, four series are currently in production for the evening program. A sequel to “Landarztpraxis” at Schliersee has already been announced, “Die Spreewaldklinik” (Monday to Friday at 7 p.m.) is currently running its first season and “Für alle Fälle Familie” will accompany viewers to the Moselle from next Monday, October 7 (Monday to Friday at 6 p.m.), with family judge Jule Beyer in the spotlight.
