Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) today announced new, exclusive discounts for Prime members who shop in-store or online at Amazon Fresh, a new private label offering great value to all customers, and online experience enhancements that make it easier for customers to grocery shop at Amazon Fresh.

“We’re always striving to make grocery shopping easier, faster and more affordable for our customers,” said Claire Peters, global vice president of Amazon Fresh. “With expanded savings for Prime members, the launch of the new Amazon Saver brand and simplified online shopping, it’s now easier than ever to do your weekly grocery shop on a budget with Amazon Fresh – whether you’re browsing the shelves or filling your online shopping cart.”

Introducing enhanced Prime savings

Amazon is introducing a significant expansion of its exclusive Prime savings program on Amazon Fresh both in-store and online, offering Prime members deeper discounts on over 3,000 grocery items — far more than the hundreds of 10% off items previously available on Amazon Fresh.

This new offer with exclusive Prime discounts on 3,000 or more items includes:

  • Up to 50% off eight to 15 weekly rotating grocery favorites, including fresh produce, proteins and pantry staples.
  • More than 1,200 rotating Prime-exclusive groceries and household favorites from top brands with 25% off.
  • Over 1,700 Amazon private label products always at 10% off – including Aplenty, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Kitchen, 365 by Whole Foods Market, Happy Belly and the company’s newest offering, Amazon Saver.

From fresh fruits and vegetables, proteins and frozen foods to drinks, snacks, pasta and more, Prime members can now save on even more groceries from Amazon Fresh. Anyone can join Prime for $14.99 per month or $139 per year, or start a free 30-day trial at amazon.com/prime if eligible.

Introducing Amazon Saver

Customers love the value of Amazon Fresh’s private labels, so the company is introducing Amazon Saver, its new no-frills brand that helps you save on your grocery budget. From crackers and cookies to canned fruit and spices, Amazon Saver offers affordable staples at a great price both in-store and online. Most Amazon Saver items are under $5, and Prime members get an additional 10% off these products.
