Honkai Star Rail Rappa leak exudes “Naruto vibes” and fans are excited

Honkai Star Rail leaks have revealed early gameplay information on Rappa, a new 5-star Imaginary character, and players are already in love with her flashy kit.

Recently released Honkai Star Rail leaks for September 9, 2024 have given players a taste of Feixiao and Rappa. However, it is the latter that has the Trailblazers excited, and many are already pledging to save their Stellar Jade for her upcoming banner release.

While HoYoverse has yet to reveal any official details about Rappa, a video showing off the Galaxy Ranger’s gear has gone viral on social media, largely due to their flashy gear, which many fans consider to be “super unique” compared to previous unit releases.

In fact, the community has collectively come together to praise the developers for their great work on Rappa, especially their eye-catching animations.

“What the heck was that animation powercreep? Crap, now I understand why she’s the only 5-star player for 2.6,” wrote one player on the HSR Leaks Reddit page. “Her animation budget is exactly the cost of 2 characters.” The HSR community was especially surprised by Rappa’s ultimate ability, Nindo Supreme: Lovedeep.

This powerful ability switches the game’s perspective, giving players a first-person view as Rappa unleashes waves of colorful, ink-like attacks. It’s clear that HoYoverse spent a lot of time perfecting Rappa’s abilities, and players believe HoYoverse was inspired by one popular anime in particular.

“Okay, she’s doing hand signs. She’s just Sakura from Naruto wearing Wisadel’s clothes, which is really incredible.” Others also pointed out that Rappa’s ultimate ability reminded them of games like Ghostwire Tokyo and Cyberpunk 2077, both of which are known for their sleek and stylized combat.
