OnePlus 13 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 spotted on Geekbench

OnePlus 13 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 spotted on Geekbench

The OnePlus 13 is coming to China next month, but the official date is still unknown. Information about the global launch is also not available as the company just announced that the China launch will take place in October. The leaks suggest that the OnePlus 13 could arrive early next year, which remains to be seen. Ahead of the possible release, the alleged OnePlus phone was spotted on the Geekbench platform. Here are the details.

According to the Geekbench listing, the OnePlus 13 achieved a single-core score of 3,216 and a multi-core score of 10,051. In comparison, Qualcomm’s own Reference Design (QRD) device with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 achieved a lower single-core score of 2884 and a multi-core score of 8840. Even Apple’s A18 Pro, which scored 3409 in single-core performance, lagged behind in multi-core performance with a score of 8492. This suggests that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could deliver better multi-core performance compared to Apple’s latest chip.

The listing also confirms that the OnePlus 13 will run Android 15 and come with 16GB of RAM. Previous rumors have also suggested that the OnePlus 13 will come with a massive 6000mAh battery, something we’ve seen on mid-range Samsung phones so far.

With these benchmarks, OnePlus 13 seems ready to challenge other flagship smartphones in the market. The official launch is eagerly awaited to see how the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 powered device performs in real-world conditions.

OnePlus 13: Leaked specifications

The OnePlus 13 is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch micro-curved display with 2K resolution and LTPO technology. This will provide better battery efficiency, similar to the OnePlus 12, with only minor changes to the overall display. Design leaks have been inconsistent, with some reports pointing to major changes and others predicting minimal updates. However, it is likely that the OnePlus 13 will retain the circular camera module of the OnePlus 12.

The device is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which will likely offer better performance than the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Rumor has it that one of the most important upgrades will be in the camera department.

The OnePlus 13 is said to feature a multifocal camera system with a periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities. The triple camera setup could include a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens.
