“Prosecco for breakfast and I’ve got the world under control again,” echoes through an apartment in Vienna. That’s where the Mountain Crew has met up with the German pop singer Anna-Carina Woitschack (31) came together to record videos for the new single “Prosecco for Breakfast” for the social media channels.

It all started in Schladming, by the way. “We met at the ‘smago Award’ and jokingly said that we could do something together. On the way home, we immediately pondered in the band bus whether we had a song that we could record together. We actually had Prosecco for breakfast in the drawer and that’s what we ended up with,” says Mountain Crew singer. Philipp Rafetseder (28) the KURIER.

The song is also on Anna-Carina Woitschack’s new album, “Meine Zeit”. “I think it’s important that every album has a personal touch, that you share experiences musically with the fans. And with ‘Meine Zeit’ in particular, the name is very personal. There are one or two songs that are autobiographical, but above all positive,” she says.

She also alludes to the last two years, which were particularly turbulent for the singer privately. In 2022, she separated from her colleagues and husband Stefan MrossBut she sees this time as an important step in her development. “It made me stronger, I became more mature, I would even say more grown-up. I think you can feel that, even in the music. And it’s also very important that you don’t stand still, that you constantly work on yourself.”

Her private life and her relationship with partner Daniel Since then, she hasn’t wanted to share much in public. “I’ve realized that it makes sense to keep private things private.”

But there is one thing she was very happy to share, because she is featured in the September issue of Playboy magazine. “The step of saying I’m going to do this was a big one. It took a lot of courage. Very positive and I would do it again anytime.

A big highlight is coming up on September 21st, when the singer will celebrate her debut at the “Starnacht aus der Wachau”.
