Apple shows new iPhone 16 Pro features in three videos

Custom memories: Create a custom memory video by entering a description in the Photos app. Apple Intelligence selects the best photos and videos to create a story with its own narrative arc.

Email Summary: With a tap, you can see a summary of a long email in the Mail app. This feature also allows you to see summaries directly from your inbox.

More personal Siri: Siri will be able to help you better than ever before, thanks to awareness of your personal context, the ability to act within and between apps, and improved speech processing.

Future features and updates

Apple plans to introduce the first Apple Intelligence features with the release of iOS 18.1 in October. New capabilities include tools for composing and summarizing text, as well as a feature that provides concise summaries of notifications.

The Messages app will get the ability to suggest replies, while a new feature will allow users to record and transcribe conversations. The Photos app will get a new “Clean” tool that can quickly remove unwanted objects from images.

Expect the Image Playground feature for generating images and the Genmoji feature for creating your own emojis in iOS 18.2, which is expected to be released in December.
