“What kind of sick game is this?”

“What kind of sick game is this?”

The world is upside down: Looking forward to a date with the “Bachelorette” suddenly becomes difficult for some candidates in episode 5 of the RTL+ format. The reason was a shocking decision by Stella Stegmann that no one understood – and after which she herself burst into tears…

A “Bachelorette” who was in tears said: “I can fully understand his reaction” – this was shown in the preview of episode 5 of the RTL+ dating show, which suggested something bad was about to happen. At the beginning it was revealed who it was about: Markus (32) or Max (33)? Because it was already clear that Stella Stegmann (27) would send one of these two candidates home after a question game on the topic of love life.

It hit … Max! The man from Lower Bavaria did not react as catastrophically as one might have feared from the preview, but his horrified look, his cool demeanor and his repeated lack of understanding were enough to make Stella cry after he left. “I just stood there and didn’t know what to do,” she sobbed.

“What kind of sick game is this?”

The news also caused a stir in the single villa: An eviction outside of the “Night of Roses”? And the eviction of a favorite? It had already become clear in episode 4 how highly the attractive Max was valued by everyone. If he could be kicked out of the show from one moment to the next, what would happen to them all? “Dude, what kind of sick game is this?” asked Devin (28), speaking for everyone. Ferry (29) was also hit hard: “Max was kind of an anchor for me here. He has big brother vibes for me.”

And it’s not just his friend’s departure that’s bothering him: When he was invited on a boat trip with the “Bachelorette” the next morning with Leila (27), Luna (33), Erik (30), Martin (35) and Musty (30), he couldn’t really be happy. He was too afraid that not everyone would be able to come back from this date either. That was actually the case, but only because Stella kept one of the six for a one-on-one date, where he promptly became a new favorite…

But first they celebrated in a floating beach club, where Musty tried his best to come across as relaxed and funny. Among other things, he boasted about unusual places where he had had fun with his girlfriends and tried his hand at being a DJ. Stella did not share his opinion that the transitions between the songs “don’t matter at all”, and in other respects it was also clear, to use a typical Ferry phrase: the two of them don’t really “vibe”.

A new favorite is emerging…

The down-to-earth Martin, who had no need to put himself in the spotlight or pretend to be more original than he was, was much better received by the bisexual single lady. The other women and men were skilfully brought back to the villa while he and Stella went to a dream island on a jet ski, chatted a bit about his desire to have children and his love of sport, and sipped coconut water. A date that sparked!

Stella later in an interview: “I feel very comfortable with him. I also feel a bit of physical attraction…” A kiss, as they say in trash TV German, still didn’t happen, although both of them wanted it. Martin: “Somehow the moment wasn’t there yet.”

The otherwise funny Ferry is “on an aggressive course”

It shouldn’t be long now, you guess, but first there was another group date: With Aysun (24), Jan (34), Devin, Akosua (21) and Markus we went on a scavenger hunt through the jungle, at the end of which two men were allowed to stay with Stella a little longer: Jan and Devin. Again two who, like Markus and Max, got on particularly well. Devin suspected something bad was about to happen: “Wait a minute: best buddies on a date together – that’s happened here before. And only one came back…”

We won’t find out until next week whether that will be the case this time. It could also be interesting to see how the romance between Ferry and candidate Emma (21), which had already started in episode 4, will develop. Apparently, there was already a lot of talk about her in the villa, which, according to Ferry, who is usually lively and funny, “got him on an aggressive course”. Things are likely to get heated – it will remain exciting!
