Original Wagner Pizza GmbH, based in Nonnweiler, is the new co-partner of the DFB E-Pokal powered by Ergo and will therefore now receive the advertising rights in the German Football Association’s E-Pokal competition. According to a report, the company will present its brand with logos in all broadcasts and online streams of the DFB E-Pokal and will use the partnership for on-pack promotions. The partnership will also be showcased on the brand’s social media presence, for example in collaboration with content creators.

“With the DFB E-Cup, we have found a platform on which we can not only reach the young target group directly in an emotional environment, but also offer the gaming community real added value with our offering,” says Oliver Schoß, Head of Marketing at Original Wagner Pizza.

At the DFB E-Pokal powered by Eergo, which is reportedly the largest nationwide e-football competition, both amateur teams and professionals from all over Germany compete against each other – similar to the traditional DFB competition on the pitch. The football simulation game EA Sports FC 24 is played on the console. The highlight is the final: last season, the finalists played in front of the sold-out event location of the DFB Campus and for prize money totaling 100,000 euros.
