Brown-Forman Germany once again sends a strong signal with Engage Day

Brown-Forman Germany is continuing the tradition of social and ecological commitment and will once again hold an “Engage Day” in September 2024. This day, which has now established itself as an integral part of the corporate culture within the German Brown-Forman organization, is all about social community and sustainability.

This year, around 70 employees from the Brown-Forman Germany team are involved in eight projects run by various organizations that are active in environmental protection and social welfare at “Engage Day”. The activities range from reforestation of local green spaces, handicraft support, food distribution to accompanying older people on their daily errands. Long-term relationships have already been established with some organizations.

“Engage Day is a great opportunity for us to make our commitment to the community and the environment visible internally and externally. It shows how social commitment and environmental awareness are anchored in our corporate culture. We focus on projects in the Hamburg region, where we have our headquarters. “I am delighted to see how passionately our employees are committed to the various causes,” says Maria Navas, Managing Director of Brown-Forman DACH & Malta, who is rolling up her sleeves for the “De Fleetenkieker eV” project and helping to clean the water surface and banks of the Alster canals in the Hanseatic city. The work is voluntary for all employees during working hours, and preferences are taken into account when assigning projects.
