Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra data sheet leak shows three impressive upgrades

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra data sheet leak shows three impressive upgrades

After high-resolution render images and the alleged final Euro prices of the Galaxy Tab S10 series were recently leaked, The Tech Outlook was able to publish the data sheet embedded below, which supposedly shows the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. This leak again suggests that the Galaxy Tab S10 series is a rather modest update, because although Samsung is not making any changes to the design apart from the color scheme, there are only three notable improvements to the hardware.

Firstly, the display gets an anti-reflective coating, but Samsung sticks with 120 Hz AMOLED panels, which reach a peak brightness of just 930 nits on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and 650 nits on the Galaxy Tab S10+. Samsung is probably a long way from the full-surface 1,000 nits that we determined in our test of the current Apple iPad Pro (approx. 1,100 euros on Amazon), because the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra only reached 620 nits across the entire surface, although an HDR peak brightness of 930 nits was also advertised for this model.

Second, Samsung is replacing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy with a newer MediaTek Dimensity 9300+. Third, Samsung is adding Wi-Fi 7 to at least the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Both tablets are expected to be 0.1 millimeters thinner and support microSD memory cards with a maximum storage capacity of 1.5 TB. The rest of the features are expected to remain unchanged, from the waterproof casing to the quad speaker and the dual front camera on the top model. The Galaxy Tab S10 series is expected to be officially launched on September 26th.
