FBI investigates suspicious package deliveries to state election authority

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KSWO) – Suspicious packages were delivered to several state election offices across the United States, one of which was en route to the Oklahoma Capitol.

State Elections Commission spokesman Misha Mohr told 7News that Oklahoma Highway Patrol officers were able to act quickly because they are responsible for security at the Capitol.

After contacting officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), we were informed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had taken over the case.

According to the Associated Press, these incidents have led poll workers across the country to stock up on anti-overdose medication out of an overly cautious approach.
